Waiting Is A Good Thing.

“Then Jacob kissed Rachel, and he wept aloud.” Genesis‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

This verse shows us how love truly is meant to be. Jacob didn't just slide into Rachel's DMS and ask for her number, He worked to have her for 7 years but realized it was her sister Leah when he finally got to marry her. He then worked another 7 years to have Rachel. In total, he worked 14 years to be with her. A man willing to wait on you to be ready for a relationship is the man you need. Someone in a rush for you is never someone worthwhile. If you're a guy be willing to wait for her no matter how long that means. Waiting for someone is never a bad thing even if you're not waiting for your rachel sometimes waiting on the right one even when you don't know who that is can be hard, but in the end, it will only make your love grow deeper. I waited for years to find the person for me, and one day when I decided to give up on love God opened the door for me to find him. Today, I feel so heavy in my heart someone is feeling like the waiting season is forever, but knows that it isn't. Your time will come and you will be so glad you didn't give up. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Since Jacob was in love with Rachel, he told her father, “I’ll work for you for seven years if you’ll give me Rachel, your younger daughter, as my wife.”” Genesis‬ ‭29:18‬ ‭ “So Jacob slept with Rachel, too, and he loved her much more than Leah. He then stayed and worked for Laban the additional seven years.”Genesis‬ ‭29:30‬ ‭ “But when Jacob woke up in the morning—it was Leah! “What have you done to me?” Jacob raged at Laban. “I worked seven years for Rachel! Why have you tricked me?”” Genesis‬ ‭29:25‬ ‭ “Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
