Be Still And Know.

Be still and know that He is God! It's easy to be still when the world is perfect and calm, but it is difficult when life is like a hurricane blowing in every direction. It is difficult to learn to not make any sudden moves in life when it seems like the best thing to do. Learn to be still in the middle of the storm and wait and let God lead the way for you, He always knows what is best and what will be best for you. Sometimes God just wants us to prove our obedience and that we can wait even when we don't understand because we trust God no matter what is happening. God doesn't have to show us a sign that He's working, but we can trust that He is. Today, be still and know that He is God, and He is in control! He is going to do amazing things for you, just trust Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” Mark‬ ‭4:39‬ ‭ “I replied, “But my work seems so useless! I have spent my strength for nothing and to no purpose. Yet I leave it all in the Lord’s hand; I will trust God for my reward.”” Isaiah‬ ‭49:4‬ ‭ “Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:4‬ ‭ “We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
