Broken Heart, Saved Soul.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalms 34:18
Sometimes God breaks your heart to save your soul. We all have had our hearts broken at some point, whether over a relationship, a friendship, or things we've had to go through. We often think that a friendship or relationship is what we need in our lives but God might have something greater for us ahead. If you've recently lost a relationship instead of taking it as a punishment from God take it as He is saving you from something in the end. Sometimes relationships can begin to lead us onto the wrong path even if we cannot see it yet because God looks at our hearts and souls. That heartbreak you've gone through wasn't God punishing you, or taking something away it was to save you and your soul. Thank God for saving you from something you didn't need. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.” Psalms 34:17 “Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37 “He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle’s!” Psalms 103:5 “Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and” Psalms 42:5
