Do What Is Right.

“But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”” ‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:25‬ ‭

Sometimes we come to a place in life where we are torn between what we know is right and what we want to do, when you come to that place you have to teach yourself to surrender your flesh and do what is right. It's all about training your mind to think before you act. If you do everything that comes to mind then you will be in a mess every day, sometimes it's best to stop and pray before you do something. You cannot do something wrong just because your friends do it, or it makes you look cool. Your own salvation is what you have to worry about. You cannot continue to sin after you know that it is wrong. Forgiveness begins with change. It's like this, someone does you wrong and you tell them that you forgive them, but they turn around and do it again right after you say that to them. That wouldn't feel great, would it? It makes it seem as though their apology didn't mean anything. Today, when you're faced with a choice and have to choose, choose the path that is forgiveness and does not follow your flesh. Follow God and He will never lead you astray. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians‬ ‭3:13‬ “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” 1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ “But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭ “Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.”” Luke‬ ‭17:4‬ ‭
