Forgivness Is Free.

“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭

God's grace cannot be bought or earned, it is a gift that is freely given. Although we go to God in prayer and ask for His mercy and forgiveness, it is not something that is earned over time, or bought through our good deeds, it is free, thanks to our Savior Jesus Christ. We each make mistakes, sometimes every day, but the Bible says that His mercies renew every morning. You cannot buy or earn forgiveness, Jesus came down to the earth to give you a gift money cannot and will never be able to buy. Today, remind yourself that forgiveness comes for free, you don't have to work for it you only have to accept it. The payment for every sin you have committed and have yet to commit was paid for by Jesus Christ. He paid for your sins while you were still a sinner, while we all were. Today, forgive others and forgive yourself with that same forgiveness that Jesus gives. Don't make someone earn forgiveness when even Jesus doesn't. Forgiving someone is to free yourself from the bondage of holding a grudge, and the only person who gains pain from it is you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭ “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” 1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ “and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation. ”” Luke‬ ‭11:4‬ “Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
