His Voice!

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” John‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭

We have a farm and we raise sheep at it, we had one born about a month ago and the mother rejected her. My dad has been bottle-feeding her, and I have learned so much. The Bible tells us that the sheep know God's voice. There is one voice our sheep, Joy, will answer to, and that is my dad. She thinks he is her shepherd who feeds and cares for her and recognizes his voice over everyone. We have to remind ourselves to tune out every voice expect our Father's. When the world is loud, make sure that His voice is the one you're listening to. Many can try to lead you to do things, but the only way you know if it's right is to ask God. You cannot let the voices of your bae, mom, dad, brother, sister, friends, family, coworkers, or anyone be louder than the voice of God! Today, tune the world out because we recognize His voice, He will always give you wisdom if only you ask. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭34:15‬ ‭ “I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.” Ezekiel‬ ‭34:12‬ ‭ ““I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me,”John‬ ‭10:14‬ ‭ “just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep.” John‬ ‭10:15‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
