Lead By Example.

“In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭

Learning to witness to others is sometimes hard because it does take a lot of courage and faith, but it is something that we have to do to be all we can be. We are here for a purpose and to witness to others about God. When you choose to take courage and open up to others about the goodness of God, then you will begin to see amazing things happen around you as those you've spoken to have found God. When you're being a vessel for God and letting your light shine for God, others will be moved by your example, and you will minister to them by your words and actions. Live like everyone is watching even when you're alone because how you live is an example to others and a light to them of Christ. Today, make sure that you're being a leader by example in the way you live. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.” Matthew‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭ “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” John‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭ “Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”” John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭ “But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭3:21‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
