Perfect Love.

“But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭

You deserve to be loved, not liked, not lusted after, not taken for granted, not settled for, but loved. We each dream of a perfect relationship and someone who perfectly loves us. If you're searching for that then learn to search for those who love Jesus, a person who doesn't love God will never be able to love you properly. When you find that perfect person, you will understand why you had to wait. Sometimes when we are ready to jump into a relationship, God isn't ready for us, and the person designed for you isn't ready either. You must take in that just because you're ready doesn't mean they are. Don't give up on love just because it seems like it's taking forever. Today, remind yourself that you deserve the kind of love that Ruth and Boaz had, and if you leave it up to God then you will find that. “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
