Your Worth.

“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬ ‭

Make sure that your identity is found in Christ, not in the world or things of it. Nothing in this world will ever be able to give you the identity that Christ will. So many times we lose ourselves trying to find out who we are in the world and who we are without Christ that we lose our soul in the process, when your identity is found in Christ all that you are is complete. If you've lost yourself, stop searching the world for a version of yourself that you'll never find, you have to search in the right place, that being in Christ. Today, find who you truly are in His word, all the things He says you are, are what you are. You are healed, you are a child of God, you are chosen, you are loved and you are fearfully and wonderfully made. The best way to find your identity is to search through the one who created you, He knows who you are and who you are meant to be. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭ “And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” Matthew‬ ‭6:30‬ ‭ “Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.” Proverbs‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭ “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,”Galatians‬ ‭5:22‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
