Never Too Far Gone.

““If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost?” Matthew‬ ‭18:12‬ ‭

There is one thing you can count on and that is that God will never think you are too far gone. The Bible tells us that He will leave the 99 to find the one that wandered away, it also says that heaven will rejoice over one soul. We are never too far into the sin, we are never too far when running from God, and most of all we are never too far in the midst of where we are to come back home to God. We each will eventually come to a place where we realize that the only place we have and will ever feel at home and at peace is in God's presence. If you've been running from your calling in God that you know you have now is the time to come home, now is the time to go after that calling. Start asking God to open doors for you to walk into that and while you're waiting for the door to open use that time to draw close to God and watch as He also grows close to you. You're not too far gone. Today, start with turning from your old ways, repenting of your sins, and watch as God opens the door for you to walk into your calling! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away!” Matthew‬ ‭18:13‬ ‭ “In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.” Matthew‬ ‭18:14‬ ‭ “For the law never made anything perfect. But now we have confidence in a better hope, through which we draw near to God.”Hebrews‬ ‭7:19‬ ‭ “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.” James‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭
