Promises Are Forever.

“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭

Your life will change when you begin to depend on the promises of God you will never be let down. God's promises are forever, you will never be let down when you leave the promises up to God. Each of us has a promise over our lives, sometimes God speaks the promise to us other times God speaks it through someone else, and sometimes we just don't know the promise until it comes to pass. God will reveal it to you in time in one way or another. God has a promise for each of us throughout the Bible we see the promises He had for each person and we see that He never failed to bring those promises pass. He will do the same in your life, you never have to doubt when God is in control. Today, remind yourself that God never forgets or backdown on His promises for you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.” Romans‬ ‭4:21‬ ‭ “My eyes are straining to see your promises come true. When will you comfort me?” Psalms‬ ‭119:82‬ ‭ “The Lord’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over.” Psalms‬ ‭12:6‬ ‭ “God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.” Psalms‬ ‭18:30‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
