The Love You're Searching For.

““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭

The world tells us every day that we need love to be happy, but the truth is we need the love of Jesus. There isn't anyone in this entire world who will ever love you the way Jesus can. Jesus loves without measure, He loves us so purely and without reasoning. He loves us enough that He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins when He never sinned. He loved us enough to sacrifice His own Son so that we can live again with Him. When you're feeling unloved and unworthy remind yourself that the same God has seen every mistake you've made ever made and sees all your so-called flaws looks at you and loves every bit of you. Today, you must remind yourself that although you might need love to be happy, that love you seek is found in the One who created you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭ “Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:7‬ ‭ “But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ “This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
