You Change For The Better.

“But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭

When you truly dedicate your life to God you no longer fit in where you used to. You might feel like an outsider to those you've been close with for years, but God will send you the right people to fit in with. When you find a true relationship with God you begin to change sometimes in ways you don't even notice. Your mind becomes clean and you start to focus more on things above than on earthly things, you begin to find out that your so-called friends aren't chasing after the things that you are, and you begin to see the beauty in everything knowing that you Father created it, you begin to forgive more easily because you want others to feel the same forgiveness you feel daily from God, you begin to see that God isn't looking at you as someone with a million mistakes He is looking at you that is forgiven. Today, you need to focus on the aftermath of finding God, making sure you are baring the Fruits of the Spirit, make sure you're feeding your Spirit. Going to church is great but you have to find time with God daily in order to grow. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’” Mark‬ ‭12:30‬ ‭ “The man answered, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”” Luke‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭ “But if you stop your sinning and begin to obey the Lord your God, he will change his mind about this disaster that he has announced against you.” Jeremiah‬ ‭26:13‬ ‭ “Teach me your decrees, O Lord; I will keep them to the end.” Psalms‬ ‭119:33‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
