Your Purpose Is Important!

“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭

You were created for a purpose. Each of us at times feels as though we are born in the wrong generation, but the Bible says, you were born for such a time as this. You were born at the perfect time and for a purpose. God never creates us without a purpose, He has a reason for us being here. Your purpose might differ from someone else's, but it is just as important as the next person's. Each of our purposes is towards the same goal: saving souls. Your purpose is just as valuable as everyone else's. Today, remind yourself that at such a time as this, you have a purpose and God wants to use you for His Kingdom if you will let Him. Open your heart and life to Him and let Him show you what your purpose is to help save souls. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.” Psalms‬ ‭138:8‬ ‭ “So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:31‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
