You're Changed.
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
When you find a real relationship with God then you will change. The Bible says you will become a new creation. When we get baptized we are being cleansed of our sins, which is so beautiful. When I was baptized, I was young and the first thing I said was, "I feel like a new woman." That's how it feels when we grow in Christ, get baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit. We are changed on the inside. There is this song that they often sing at my church that says, "I may wear the same clothes, have the same name, but you're looking on the outside if you could see inside instead, you would see a brand new man." When people from your past see you they would think that you still fit in where you used to. It's an adjustment to realize when we change we often don't fit in with the same people. We are changed from the inside. Today, when you look in the mirror and see the same person although you've gained a relationship with God remind yourself that you're changed on the inside. It's a sign of change when you don't fit in the places and crowds you are used to. That is a great thing. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “It doesn’t matter whether we have been circumcised or not. What counts is whether we have been transformed into a new creation.” Galatians 6:15 “In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.” Colossians 3:11 “Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.”Colossians 3:10 “You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world.” Colossians 3:7
