All In!

““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.”” Luke‬ ‭16:13‬ ‭

All eyes are on Jesus. You have to ask yourself are your eyes focused more on pleasing God or more on earthly things? This verse shows us that we cannot serve God and money at the same time. We have to choose one master over out souls. We cannot be a lukewarm Christian. We either have to be all in or not in at all. God doesn't tolerate us being half way with Him. He knew we would make mistakes, that is why He sent Jesus, but He also knew that we needed to give Him our whole heart. Today, ask yourself is your whole heart devoted to Christ or only the parts you want it to be? God doesn't expect perfection, but He does expect us to be fully in! You cannot have one foot in and one foot out and expect God to be always all in for you. It's the same way we are with people, we don't want people in our lives that only care about us sometimes, but deny us when we aren't around. You have to fully give your life to Jesus. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Matthew‬ ‭6:24‬ ‭ ““Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ “But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth!” Revelation‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭ ““I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other!” Revelation‬ ‭3:15‬ ‭
