Be Consistent With God.

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”Hebrews‬ ‭10:23‬ ‭

The moral of the story is once you get what you are praying for remember to still pray. Often times when we are praying for something we are so faithful in prayer that we forget to be faithful when we get what we are asking for. God is our provider but He is also our Father. No one likes when someone only talks to you when it is convenient for them, you want someone consistent in your life at all times. That is what God expects in your relationship with Him. The point is you cannot forget God when things are good. God is going to bless you for your faithfulness. Today, make sure that you're being consistent in your relationship with God at all times. You are needed to be faithful in every moment, not just in the times of asking for something. Faithfulness is something we have to have in a relationship with God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭ “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:22‬ ‭ “Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭ “Never stop praying.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
