Blessing Are From God!

““If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.” Luke‬ ‭16:10‬ 

Don't idolize the gift, thank God who gave it to you. If it's a gift then you owe God a thank you. God does all these things for us, we shouldn't worship the things that we receive but instead be grateful to have been blessed with them. We aren't able to take anything to heaven with us, everything we own here will be worth nothing in heaven, but the relationship with God that we have will be worth everything. The relationship with God that we have is something we have to cling to. Something I've learned is if we aren't thankful in little then how can we be thankful in a lot? We have to be grateful for all things. God blesses us! Stop saying you're self-made and start saying you're God made. Today, remind yourself that you are where you are because God blessed you enough to get there! Everything we have is because of God. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.” Proverbs‬ ‭15:16‬ ‭ ““Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal.” Matthew‬ ‭6:19‬ ‭ “Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.”Matthew‬ ‭6:20‬ ‭ ““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Matthew‬ ‭6:24‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
