Blessing In Disguise.

“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.”Isaiah‬ ‭45:3‬ ‭

Have you ever heard the expression "blessing in disguise." We sometimes teach ourselves to think that things happen by coincidence. It's like when you're late for work, school, or an event and you're so mad over it but you never know what God is using that time for or protecting you from. I like to think that nothing happens by coincidence. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that all things happen for a reason. Sometimes it takes years to look back and realize the reason, but everything we go through is for something. I've learned that everyone I meet is for a purpose, sometimes they're there for a moment to teach me something, and other times they're there to be by my side for a very long time. We cannot predict a friendship or relationship, but we can trust God with it. Today, know that everything is for a purpose, and know also that when life seems to be pouring rain it might just be your blessing in disguise. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
