Change Is Now!

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭

There is never a perfect time. We cannot waste our lives saying we will change, grow closer to God, and stop sinning when the time is right. There is never a right time, it's all about faith. You've got to have enough faith to walk away from your sinful desires and live a pure life. You've got to do it now! Stop wasting time on worldly things, they amount to nothing. When the time comes that you've truly established a relationship with God you'll realize that nothing in this world amounts to anything unless you have God at the center of it. Change at this moment, and give your heart to God fully. You don't need to wait for a better time, you need to stop wasting time. God's plans for you are far beyond anything you could imagine. Change and walk in the freedom away from sin with Christ. Today, ask yourself when is the perfect time to change? It never is. Life with God is better than a life spent chasing sin. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.”Psalms‬ ‭51:10‬ ‭ “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭ “throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:22‬ ‭ “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.”Ephesians‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
