Silence Isn't Absence.

“As they sailed across, Jesus settled down for a nap. But soon a fierce storm came down on the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in real danger.” Luke‬ ‭8:23‬ ‭

Maybe Jesus slept on the boat when the storm was coming to prove that His silence doesn't mean His absence. See when the storm came the disciples began to panic, Jesus was sleeping through it. They took that Jesus' resting meant He was absent from saving them. When we find ourselves in a season of silence we shouldn't panic, instead, we should remind ourselves that God is there just as much in the moments of silence as He is when He is speaking. God doesn't have to move by letting us know, we should trust Him enough to make moves for us. Today, if you feel like God isn't speaking, know that doesn't mean He is absent from you or your life, instead, His peace surrounds you. God is at work for you in ways you've yet to see, but some of the greatest blessings are to come. Get ready for God to move mountains in your life. “Jesus responded, “Why are you afraid? You have so little faith!” Then he got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly there was a great calm.” Matthew‬ ‭8:26‬ ‭ “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.””Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬ ‭ “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”Philippians‬ ‭2:13‬ ‭ “God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭12:6‬ ‭
