Speak Life.

“He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.” Isaiah‬ ‭40:29‬ ‭

Although we often feel powerless in life, we have to remember that God has all the power, we feel like we have no strength, but we have to remember God is our strength, we feel like we are not loved but nothing can separate us from His love, we think we aren't attractive enough but we are made in God's imagine, and we feel like we are alone but He will never leave us. Every single one of these that starts out are lie from the enemy. The enemy thinks that if we begin to believe his lies then we will start to question God. We have to speak faith and hope into our lives. I have struggled with anxiety, the way I began to overcome it was when the enemy would speak to me I would respond with faith, and I began speaking life out loud to myself. "I will be at peace, I will get through this." It's amazing how God works in our lives. Today, speak life! Speak out loud that you will overcome in Jesus' name, you will get through the battles you face, you are loved, cared for, and never forgotten. He is going to use the enemy's lies as proof He is at work in your life. You are safe when your hope is in Christ alone. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.” Ephesians‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭ “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”” Joshua‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ “Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.””Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:8‬ ‭ “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
