The God Of Breakthroughs!

“For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalms‬ ‭30:5‬ ‭

Joy comes in the morning. Don't let the silence of the night make you think joy is not still to come. Sometimes we must remind ourselves that even when nothing is happening, and all things are quiet God is still at work in our lives. You don't have to see the evidence of God working to know He is at work for you. There are times when faith is hard to have, but we have to remind ourselves that God has never failed us so why would He start now? He is a God of miracles and worthy of all the praise we give Him. Don't let the silence make you doubt that the breakthrough is near. There are times when we feel the breakthrough coming, but other times we don't. Today, be expecting your breakthrough. Get excited. Thank God for what is yet to come. He will go above and beyond for you as He always does. “Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
