You Are Enough!

“Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit.” Proverbs‬ ‭23:4‬ ‭

God thinks you are good enough, now it's your turn to believe it! We often get stuck in a mindset that we need to be better for a relationship, friendship, the job we want, the car we dream of owning, or the house we want to live in. We underestimate ourselves so much. I was listening to worship music today, and it was talking about how Jesus came here just to save us, His ultimate plan was to save each of us. I realized how I could even for a moment, think I am not enough when the same one who created me also thought I was enough to come down and sacrifice Himself so that I can be forgiven and freed? He loves us that much. We cannot let the enemies' lies tell us we are not enough when the One who created us thinks we are more than enough. Today, remind yourself that you're more than enough. God loves you and He thinks you are more precious than rubies. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.” 1 John‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭ “Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.” Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬ ‭ “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” 1 John‬ ‭4:16‬ ‭ “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
