You Are Loved.

“No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭8:39‬ ‭

We all seek love, whether it be in a friend, family, or relationship. We all want to feel like someone cares and loves us. Although it is good to have someone who cares about our lives we have to remind ourselves the one who cares the most is God. We are constantly surrounded by a love that will never be understood. God loved us enough to send His only Son to save us. His love is so unconditional that we cannot even comprehend it. When you feel like you arent cared for, or loved, remind yourself that God loves you so much. There has never been a moment in your life that God hasn't loved you! You might feel as though you have failed Him, but He will always love you. Today, come humbly before God knowing that His love is something we can never be separated from. He loves you, He sees you and He cares for you! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” 1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭ “This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.” 1 John‬ ‭4:10‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.” 1 John‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
