Your Perspective.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Romans 12:2
Sometimes we spend so much time praying for God to change our circumstances that we forget that the circumstance could have been sent to change our hearts. If you're in a circumstance that you cannot understand, then you should take time to pray and ask God if it is something you need to change about yourself. There have been times in my life where I've prayed and God didn't change things, instead, He changed my perspective on them. When I looked at my circumstances with my perspective being changed I realized that things weren't like I had imagined, in fact, the things I was praying for weren't what I wanted. It was more like a fantasy of how I thought I wanted things. Today, make sure that the circumstances you are in aren't meant to change you. His plan is better than your own nad sometimes what you think that you want isn't what you want at all. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me.” Psalms 51:10 “So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians 3:18 “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6 “God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.” Psalms 53:2
