Act Of Kindness.

“I always thank my God when I pray for you, Philemon,”Philemon‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭

Acts of love and kindness doesn't always have to be a grand gesture that others can see. Often times an act of love is not something someone will even know about until you tell them. I have found that the most beautiful act of kindness or love someone has ever done for me is to pray for me without me asking or knowing. That is truly a great person. the Bible says it is more blessed to give than to receive. I have found that praying for someone without them knowing and watching doors open for them is so beautiful. Knowing God heard and answered your prayer for them is true joy. Today, when you pray, think of someone in your life that you can pray for. Pray for them everyday for thirty days and watch as God opens doors for them. That is a true act of kindness and love. Be the friend, spouse, family member or significant other that someone needs by praying for them. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,” Ephesians‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭ “For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.”Philippians‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭ “I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.” 1 Timothy‬ ‭2:1‬ ‭ “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
