Forgivness Not Perfection.

“They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”” John‬ ‭8:7‬ ‭

God chose you the same way He chose each person in the Bible. You can look throughout the Bible and notice that no one except for Jesus was perfect. He did not choose you to be perfect, He chose you to be able to forgive you when you're not perfect. There was not a single person that was perfect from the beginning of time. Even Adam and Eve the first humans failed God and fell into sin. You cannot expect yourself to be perfect knowing that God doesn't think you are and does not expect you to be. In the Bible, there is a story of Jesus, and He was in a crowd of people who wanted to stone a woman for being in the act of adultery. Jesus was perfect, He had never sinned. He then told the crowd that if any of them had never sinned to throw the first stone. No one in all of the crowd could do so knowing they themselves had sinned. Jesus was perfect but still chose forgiveness. No one is perfect and flawless on this earth. Jesus was and forever will be the only one. Today, remind yourself that perfection is not what you are working for, it is forgiveness within yourself and from God. When you set your mind to changing for God, and to become a Godly person that is the most God can ask for. Turn from sin and never look back, unless it is at the forgiveness God has shown you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭ “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” 1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ “He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.” Psalms‬ ‭103:12‬ ‭ “Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!”Psalms‬ ‭32:1‬ ‭
