Leap Of Faith.

“For we live by believing and not by seeing.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭

Today, as I got up God spoke to me to do something completely out of my comfort zone. He told me I would be okay and that this was all for a purpose the things I have faced and this is for a testimony I will tell of someday. As I went to do what He told me to do, He gave me a confirmation. I did exactly what He told me to do. Normally things would upset me, and make me panic but this time was different. I knew what He wanted me to do and I took a step of faith. That's how our everyday lives are. We are often afraid to lead by faith although we know that God will protect and guide us. You are His child, He will not ever forsake you. Sometimes a leap of faith is the answer to what you're praying for, but you also need to ask God which leaps to take. Today, remind yourself that all leaps of faith are backed by what you know is right. Taking a leap of faith is great if it's a part of God's will. Ask God to guide you in which leaps you should take. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭ “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭ “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” Matthew‬ ‭21:21‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
