Speak Positive!

“The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”” Matthew‬ ‭12:37‬ ‭

The world teaches us that what we say to ourselves doesn't matter if we don't say it to others. Later in life, it leads to us speaking doubt into our own lives, and hate to ourselves. It does matter what you say to yourself and about those around you when you're alone. Words hurt people, but the worst part is that God sees what we say to ourselves about others whether we say it to them or not. It's the same as saying it to them. When you speak of yourself or others always speak hope! Never let the negative win. You cannot let the negative outweigh the positive. Today use your words as positive instead of negative. Don't use words for harm, use them for good even if it's only about yourself. The same way words hurt others your words can hurt yourself. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.” James‬ ‭1:19‬ ‭ “Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.” Colossians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ “I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.” Mark‬ ‭11:23‬ ‭ “Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” Ephesians‬ ‭4:29‬ ‭
