Treat Others Good.
“Do to others as you would like them to do to you.” Luke 6:31
We all have baggage we carry around. There was a quote I once read that said hurt people hurt people. How many times have you hurt someone after being hurt by someone else? We frequently don't let God heal what hurts us and instead take it out on others. You have to let God heal the baggage you are carrying around. The Bible teaches us to do to others as we want them to do to us. Although we have been hurt, doesn't mean we repay someone for how we have been treated. We should instead treat others the way we want to be treated in the first place. Everyone you know has been hurt by someone, but that doesn't mean they will hurt you. God can heal the things no one else knows about or sees. Today, let God heal your heart, soul, and mind. You don't have to hurt those around you to repay them for something they didn't do. Show love and kindness to everyone just like you want them to do to you. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.”Philippians 2:3 ““Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37 “Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things?” Romans 2:3 “I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.” 1 Corinthians 10:33
