Walk By Faith.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭

It's hard for us to not let doubt control what we know we trust God with. We have to stop walking by sight instead of by faith. When we walk into places we know that God wants us to be we have faith that He will lead us into the right places. Now there is a keynote in that last sentence, "that we know that God wants us in", you have to be certain it is what God wants for you. It is complete self-destruction if we walk into a place of sin and assume we are walking by faith, it is far from faith. You have to make sure when you say that you're walking by faith that it is by God's plan not your own. Your flesh will lead you into places you were never meant to step foot in, but God's plans will lead you to step into your purpose. Ask yourself today are the steps that you're taking in faith going towards God's plan or your plans? Here are some verses to reflect on today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “The Lord detests evil plans, but he delights in pure words.” Proverbs‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭ “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.”Proverbs‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
