Working For Jesus.

“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Colossians‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭

When we are doing something the Bible says to do it as if we were working for Jesus. There are days we each don't want to work, and go to make a living for ourselves, but we are blessed to have the opportunity to do so. Imagine how well we would do our jobs if we worked as though we were working for God. The way we would be so productive would be amazing. You have to make sure you're taking the opportunity to do the best you can where you are. God gives each of us a purpose in life and makes a way for us to make an income. We have to take that opportunity when it comes and be grateful to work when we can. Today, whatever your job might be work as though you're working for God. Be productive. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ “Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭ “Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:7‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
