A Plan All Along.

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭

I often think of the story of creation. I once questioned why God even allowed Satan to come into the garden as a serpent. I prayed on it and God spoke to me. He said, "Because I had a plan all along, that plan was Jesus." This verse tells us that in the beginning the word was with God and the word was God." Therefore, before the world was created, God had a plan for the world. He knew the world would come to this, He knew that sin was something our flesh would crave, but He also knew He would someday send Jesus. He knew that Jesus would come to save every soul to live and to forgive us. When we question why sin exists we need to be reminded that Jesus' plan all along was to come. Today, know that Jesus came down to the earth to save you, and although sin is something we are all born into we can be born again into the spirit of the Holy Spirit. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:25‬ ‭ “The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.” John‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭ “If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.” 1 John‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭ “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
