Act Like Jesus Would.

“Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭

You have to train your mind to always look for the best in people. My entire life I've been told that I let everyone walk all over me and hurt me. I came to realize the older I get that I just choose forgiveness even when someone doesn't seem to deserve it, I love without measures, I will be kind even when others aren't and I open up even when others don't. It often might seem one-sided, but it's exactly what Jesus would do. It's being the person that others can confide in, depend on, and know they are always loved by. It's opening your heart to people who once shattered it, but most of all it's loving others after they did so. You have to choose the way of Jesus and how He would treat others. The way Jesus treats us is much different than the way the world does. You have a choice to make in life whether you will become one of the world or one of the Kingdom. Today, choose to be like Jesus. Forgiving when it doesn't make sense, loving those who have hurt you, being open enough to believe in those who have failed you, but most of all being the kind of person that anyone can come to and depend on no matter what. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.”” Mark‬ ‭11:25‬ ‭ ““Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.” Luke‬ ‭6:35‬ ‭ “You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.” Luke‬ ‭6:36‬ ‭ “We love each other because he loved us first.” 1 John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭
