Beauty In You!

“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.”Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬ ‭

One of my favorite things is the sunset, it shows absolute beauty and the way God takes and has taken so much time for all of creation. We find ourselves finding the beauty in the stars, moon, sunsets, sunrises, the ocean, hills, valleys, mountains, rivers, and ponds. We see the amount of time God spent on all of nature and we find ourselves amazed by it. Next time you're taking a good look at nature remind yourself that everything you're looking at was made by the same God that calls you by name and loves you more than anyone in this world ever could. Today, know that God loves you enough to put just as much effort into the creation of you as He did in nature. He loves you, He cares for you and when He looks at you He is amazed at His beautiful creation. Nothing anyone thinks will ever amount to what God thinks of you. God's opinion matters most. You are beautiful or handsome but most of all you are loved. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Psalms‬ ‭139:13‬ ‭ “You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.” Psalms‬ ‭139:15‬ ‭ “You are the most handsome of all. Gracious words stream from your lips. God himself has blessed you forever.” Psalms‬ ‭45:2‬ ‭ “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:11‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. The waiting is important and a lesson is somewhere in the midst. Today, whatever it is God is having you wait for know that the season of waiting is often a time you look back on as a blessing. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
