The Door Will Open.

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭

Sometimes when God opens the door we have been praying for we want to run, out of being shocked that it is finally here. Recently a door I had been praying for God to open for me became the closest to ever opening, I began to see things that I didn't see before, and I truly feel that it will happen for me. I can feel it in my Spirit, I know that it is coming and honestly, it scares me. I realized tonight when God spoke to me that I'm not scared of the door or the fact it is opening, I'm scared of the unknown. I don't understand exactly when it will open, how it will open, or how I will be able to walk through the door. That is when God's plan steps in. I don't need to know any of that. I need to focus on the now, the faith of what is to come, and the fact I know it will. Today, if you're praying for a door to open, don't stress. God has every single detail under control. God is working it all out. Nothing you're thinking of has not been what God is thought about. The door will open and every detail will be already taken care of by God. Get excited about it! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.” 1 John‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭ “At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name.” John‬ ‭16:23‬ ‭ “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.”Psalms‬ ‭37:4‬ ‭ “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.” James‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
