Be The Example.

“Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:5‬ ‭

The world teaches us to accept sin, not only accept it but to celebrate it. The world has all the morals twisted, and if we were not careful, we would be too. We must watch what we say, what we do, how we act, and who we are to not become a person without Christian morals. It is so important to have morals as a Christian. We must keep our minds on track, that we are not here to accept or celebrate sin. We are here to accept Jesus Christ as our one true God, we are here to celebrate those souls that find Jesus or return to him. We are here to set the example of the opposite of the world. We are meant to be the people who show others what a true Christian is by how we walk, talk, and live our lives. Today, don't follow the world and celebrate sin, follow Jesus and celebrate Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world.” John‬ ‭17:14‬ ‭ “The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.” John‬ ‭15:19‬ ‭ “God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭ “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.” 1 John‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
