God Is Priority.

“You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.” Psalms‬ ‭63:5‬ ‭

Don't ever let anyone get between you and God. At times we put friendships and relationships over God. We idolize popularity, earthly love, lust, sin, and acceptance. We put everything we think will fill us above our relationship with God. It's like this, you're constantly trying to fill a cup with an empty gallon to fill it with, you cannot fill yourself with sin, lust, popularity, being accepted, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, or any material things. You can only be full when you let God fill you with the Holy Spirit. Nothing in this world will ever make us feel the way God can. This world cannot satisfy us, it will constantly leave us empty. Today, make sure that you're not putting things, or people in front of your relationship with God. He is the priority in our lives and always will be. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:5‬ ‭ “Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.” Psalms‬ ‭90:14‬ ‭ “I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!” John‬ ‭15:11‬ ‭ “Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice!” Philippians‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
