God Sees You!

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭

God thinks you're good enough, it's your turn to believe it! When we look at ourselves we often see all of our insecurities. When God looks at us He sees every little detail, the Bible says that He knows every hair on our heads. Imagine the details He pays attention to. We each have details about ourselves that we can't stand, but we all have some features we love about ourselves. God made every feature that we have. He has never and will never look at you in the same disappointment we look at ourselves. When Jesus was on the earth He came across a woman that others were trying to stone because she had committed adultery, Jesus told them to let the first person who had not sinned throw the first stone. He chose not to judge her based on what she had done, instead, He chose to be patient with her. He looks at us the same way, He looks at who we are as people not what we have done. We are not a disappointment, failure or someone to be embarrassed of. We are loved, cherished, cared for, adored, and have the most amazing God who created us and is proud of us! Today, start believing what God says about you. He notices you and He loves you. Here are some verses to reflect on today.‭ “What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it.” Matthew‬ ‭10:29‬ ‭ “And the very hairs on your head are all numbered.” Matthew‬ ‭10:30‬ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
