The Door.

““I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” Revelation‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭

The door is about to open. I felt God speak to me and I saw a door opening. It was opening up to the true promises of God. We often feel like we are in a long hallway, just looking for the right door to open. Know that the door is about to open for you. This promise that is about to happen for you will be greater than you could have ever imagined, God is doing something amazing in your life. God's plans for you will be so great and so big your wildest dreams couldn't have made you think of them. God knew you needed a door to open, so He began to prepare that door, and when it opens you will see all the effort He put into it all along. He will open doors for you that you didn't even knock on. Today, keep on believing because God is working! God is doing amazing things in your life. Here are some verses to reflect on today. ““Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation‬ ‭3:20‬ ‭ “Meanwhile, Peter continued knocking. When they finally opened the door and saw him, they were amazed.” Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭12:16‬ ‭ “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
