We Are A New Creation!

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭

When we truly find a real relationship with God those who used to know us will no longer recognize us. I have come to realize that those friends I used to fit in with will never be the same, that is because I am not the person I once was. When we find that true relationship with God we no longer want the same things in life, we no longer have the same vision. We have to realize that it's a great thing to be changed. The Bible says that we become a new creation when we find Him. We aren't meant to be the same when we grow close to God. We must stop for a second when we feel left out, forgotten, or like we don't fit into the places we once did, because that means we are better off than we once were. If we remain the same how will we become the person we are called to be? If we did not change when we find God we would be the sinner we once were. Today, be open to the fact it's a wonderful thing that we no longer fit in like we used to. We are a new creation in Christ we are changed for the better. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭ “They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.” John‬ ‭1:13‬ ‭ “So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭ “And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
