A Miracle Is Happening!

“Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!” Romans‬ ‭11:33‬ ‭

As I was sitting outside today the dark clouds rolled in, no large storm was supposed to hit here. It started to sprinkle rain, the wind began to blow and before I knew it the storm had hit. The wind blew hard and the rain started to pour. There was no sign of it coming, no way I could have prepared. That is how life is. When God chooses to give you a gift or do a miracle for you, He never warns you. I was going through a battle, I had been praying for a miracle. I remember one Sunday morning I was doing my makeup and listening to worship music, the words spoke to me in a new way they had never done before. I got up and began to shout for praises. I did not feel the miracle happen inside of me, I didn't feel a change. I got up the next day feeling the same, the next day the miracle happened. Just because you do not see the miracle happening doesn't mean it isn't happening. Today, know that God will do the impossible for you. Just because you don't see it happening or feel it doesn't mean that God is not at work for you at this very moment. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Then Jesus took her by the hand and said in a loud voice, “My child, get up!”” Luke‬ ‭8:54‬ ‭ “He replied, “What is impossible for people is possible with God.”” ‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:27‬ ‭ “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”” Matthew‬ ‭19:26‬ ‭ “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”” Mark‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
