A Sudden Blessing!

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭

God's not done with you, yet! We cannot give up on the blessing before it gets here. We tend to want to stop before the best things happen. When working towards the blessing we cannot give up before it happens. I remember a time in my life when I felt what I was praying for was taking forever to come to pass, I knew God could do the impossible but I was afraid that it would take forever. During that season I realized that my timing wasn't God's, but that did not mean the blessing wasn't coming. The blessing indeed did come but it was not in my time, it was in God's, it happened unexpectedly and suddenly. I pray today that your sudden blessing will come! If you're praying for something keep on praying! God is listening to your prayers. Today, know that this blog you're reading is your sign that the blessing you're asking for is coming. It might not come when you want it, but God is always right on time! At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
