Being Fed Daily!

“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭

Did you pray, read your Bible, or spend time with God today? We live in a fast-paced world, and we find ourselves in a rush constantly. The enemy starts small with distractions, then it becomes a habit to forget, and then before we know it we find ourselves drifting away from God thinking we are doing our "best". We know deep down we aren't doing our best, instead, we have let the enemy win by pulling us away from God. In high school, we find excuses for friends, events, homework, and more as to why we cannot find time. As we grow older we use work, school, family, friends, events, and more for an excuse. We forget that if we continue going to church on Sunday that will not fix a relationship with God without further effort. We cannot be fed once a week and expect to stay full. If you fill your gas tank on Sunday and travel all week before Sunday comes you will need gas again. If you eat on Sunday but no other day you will be starving before Sunday comes again. What makes you think that you can be spiritually fed once a week and grow in God. We need Him every hour, every minute, and every second. Today, make time for God. One day a week is not enough. You need to pray and seek God daily to grow in Him. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:11‬ ‭ “Pray for us, for our conscience is clear and we want to live honorably in everything we do.” Hebrews‬ ‭13:18‬ “So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:11‬ ‭ “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭
