Fallin' For Jesus!

“Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” Romans‬ ‭3:24‬ ‭

As the season is changing, the leaves are going to change and begin to fall from the tree we are going to notice that although all of nature will look different it will still be beautiful. When we get a real relationship with God we start out as the summer, being full of sin, as we grow closer we begin to see a change in ourselves as the fall, but then as we grow more and more like Jesus we become the winter, white as snow cleansed from sin. We cannot stay in the summer because the fall is here. We need to let ourselves fall for Jesus and watch as He changes us. We are all called to God for a purpose. Today, let yourself change in Jesus into a new creation. Fall for Jesus more than ever and get away from your sins. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “And he who is the Glory of Israel will not lie, nor will he change his mind, for he is not human that he should change his mind!”” 1 Samuel‬ ‭15:29‬ ‭ “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” 1 John‬ ‭1:9‬ ‭ “If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth.” 1 John‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭ “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.” Romans‬ ‭6:14‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
