Find Your Faith!

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭

But do you have faith? It's easy for us to say we have faith that our circumstances will change, God will answer our prayers and our wildest dreams will come true, but do we deep down believe and have true faith? I have come to the conclusion when I tell myself that I have faith I also need to check myself, I need to see if my actions are showing God that I have that faith, and do my words show that? If you're saying you have faith without checking yourself are you fooling yourself? Faith is sometimes hard to gain, we first have to have hope for good things in our future then we have to trust God to handle the details of getting there. The trust in the unknown is the faith. Trusting God fully is faith that He will do it. If you have faith in the impossible show God that you do by your actions of living every day knowing He has taken care of all the details. Today, find faith in God. Show God that faith, and watch the mountains be moved by Him! Here are some verses to reflect on today. “By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭ “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭ “Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.” Matthew‬ ‭21:21‬ “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
