God Is Not Done With You.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭

God is not done with you. God has a huge plan for your life, you have no reason to doubt that God's plan is great. This verse always brings me hope, in times when I thought my plans were great, God had even better plans. Sometimes our plans fall through, but that means even better plans are ahead. Nothing in life that doesn't go to plan goes wasted. There is something better ahead. When your plan falls through know that it means that God's plan is falling into place. Before we were born God began making plans for our lives. Every little detail is apart of a bigger plan than we can see. Everything will eventually work together for the best. Today, trust God's plan. When what you thought you wanted falls through know that God's plan will be better than what you wanted. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed.” Psalms‬ ‭20:4‬ ‭ “Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs‬ ‭16:3‬ ‭ “You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.” Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬ ‭ “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” Ephesians‬ ‭2:10‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also.
