God Will Make A Way!

“Listen! It’s the voice of someone shouting, “Clear the way through the wilderness for the Lord! Make a straight highway through the wasteland for our God!” Isaiah‬ ‭40:3‬ ‭

He will make a way. I often think of Moses's story, when I wonder how God will make a way. God told Moses to go save the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Moses and the Israelites had to run and came up to the Red Sea with them still being chased. God then split the Red Sea letting them cross it, and then drowning those who chased them. This is how God really works. We don't see a way for that prayer to be answered, even when we get to the point of the problem, but God makes a way at the right moment and splits our Red Sea. The same God that made a way for Moses and the Israelites, He will make a way for you too. Today, you've got to hold on to the knowledge that God will make way for you in every circumstance. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert.” Psalms‬ ‭106:9‬ ‭ “So God led them in a roundabout way through the wilderness toward the Red Sea. Thus the Israelites left Egypt like an army ready for battle.” Exodus‬ ‭13:18‬ ‭ “It was by faith that the people of Israel went right through the Red Sea as though they were on dry ground. But when the Egyptians tried to follow, they were all drowned.”Hebrews‬ ‭11:29‬ ‭ “For the Lord your God dried up the river right before your eyes, and he kept it dry until you were all across, just as he did at the Red Sea when he dried it up until we had all crossed over.” ‭‭Joshua‬ ‭4:23‬ ‭

Wait Patiently!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭ If God is making you wait, then wait patiently. Nothing in the waiting is a waste. I remember a time in my life where I was praying for something, I waited years and seem to receive no answer. I waited and waited. Somedays I was impatient and cried all day, other days I waited with patience of steel and praised God for what I knew I would someday receive. Sometimes the waiting is easy, other times it is an uphill battle. Whenever we are waiting we will go through different seasons, but we can count on the fact that God is at work for us. Don't Forget God!

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭ Don't forget God when you receive what you are praying for. God knows the things that we want the most, and often times He does give us what we want. When God does give us the things we want we have to stop and give thanks. It's like this, if you give someone a gift that you know they have really been wanting, something they will absolutely love, and they don't even say thank you it would hurt your feelings. It would make you feel like they don't appreciate you. If someone asked how they got the gift and they said they got it for themselves it would make you hurt also. When God gives us what we are praying for we need to shout from the rooftops that God done it for us, that He made a way. We need to thank God, telling everyone about it.
