Money Can't Buy It All.

““No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” Matthew‬ ‭6:24‬ ‭

You cannot buy happiness. I understand that we all need things, bills to pay, and things we buy, but money should not control our lives. We have to work for what we have, but when we start letting money lead we realize that we drift from God. The Bible teaches us that we cannot serve God and serve money, we can only have one master. God will help us with the opportunity to work for things we need, but we shouldn't serve money. Money cannot make us happy. Being blessed doesn't mean you're rich, have the biggest house, or the nicest car. Being blessed is rich in joy, peace, hope, strength, and faith. Being rich in the things God provides will never amount to any kind of money you could have. Today, know that when you're blessed by God you're more rich than all the money on this earth. Here are some verses to reflect on today. “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:21‬ ‭ “Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:5‬ “But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction.” 1 Timothy‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭“Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.” 1 Timothy‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭
